I know what you're going to think

So to my few loyal readers (Emily, Cara, and Kristin) I know that I'm very sporadic in my blogging; none for a month and then 4, I mean 5, posts in one day. Thanks for still checking, I will get more consistant someday!

Hey Batter, Batter!

So Dillon finished his T-ball season on tuesday. He had a great experience playing this year. It was his first season and he thought it was cool for many reasons including: games three times a week, treats after each game, getting to play every position, he received a medal at the final game, and expecially being jersey #11 which means he was always the last to bat and therefore got a homerun every time he bat. Next year he might be upset or confused when he doesn't get to run all the bases after each bat!

We are proud of him and we're excited for next year!

Colin's Preschool Graduation

Yesterday was Colin's preschool graduation. He did really well this past year, although he won't be going to kindergarten this next year because he's an October baby, I did a preschool with four other moms to give our kids social and learning opportunities.

It was a great time with food, games, a ceremony, and dessert at 11:00 am! I have to say he looks so cute in his graduation cap!

Corbin's sitting, kind of!

Corbin is so close to sitting up on his own. He is at the point when he'll sit by himself until he gets excited and then loses his balance. Here's a picture of him getting smiley for the picture and he's starting to head backwards. I love it!

Who's present?!

For Mother's Day Brent and the boys gave me a ipod shuffle. They thought I could use some tunes while I trained for the big relay coming up in a month! But I think Colin has used it more that me! He thinks that it is pretty cool how small it is. He's now added it to his lists of wants (wii, nintendo ds, ipod) he's going to be our technology kid! This is a picture of him testing it out for me to make sure it doesn't fall off while running.

Corbin and carrots

Corbin has recently started eating baby food. Although I'm not sure he loves it yet!

I can't say I blame him, rice cereal and bland carrots as my first taste of solid food, yuck! It's always cute to get pictures of his messy face and see how much of the food is on his bib.

Corbin's past 4 months update

Like I said in Dillon's post that because it has been so long since I've posted I thought that I would do a little update on each one. I forgot that that post would go down after another post. Anyways, it is pretty sad how little of Corbin I have actually posted. Luckily, I take more pictures than I post! He is getting so big and is the happiest little guy too! He loves to be a part of the action, and it is a good thing because he is #3 and there's not a lot of down time.
I feel bad I never posted his blessing day. It was an important day in his life and he was really sweet and handsome too! It was just after Christmas and so lots of family could attend. It was a special day.
He is also getting pretty good at sitting up and playing with his toys. He loves all the toys that fit easily into his mouth. His brothers just pile on the toys, he was starting to look overwhelmed.
As you can tell the third picture is of him and his brothers on St. Patrick's Day. They all had spikey hair that day!
And finally, this is his 5 month picture! I can't believe he is already that old. He is a great addition to our family!

Colin's past 4 months update

Colin has stayed pretty busy these past 4 months. He has a routine every morning he wakes up eats breakfast, says hello to Corbin (if he's awake), we send Dillon off on the school bus, and then he asks me if I would like to light saber fight him! By the end I have lost both legs and arms but his miraculously regenerate, it is amazing! I have to say, he is getting to be quite the Jedi!
And then two days a week he has preschool. He loves to learn and loves to play with his friends. In preschool this past month we tried to trick Lucky, the leprechaun, and see if we could catch him. We talked about how hard it is to catch one; and so we decided to build an over-sized leprechaun hat that has a trap hole under the gold coin. Well we didn't trick him but he left us some shiny silver peppermint patties!
And finally, Colin has started soccer. We didn't get a picture of his first game of the season because Brent is his coach and was out on the field with him, and I was at Dillon's T-ball game that happened to be at the exact same time. I hear it was a great game and he scored 4 goals!

Dillon's past 4 months update

It has been awhile since I've posted anything. And to prove that we're busy enough to not have time I've put together a collage of each kid and their past 4 months! Dillon lost his 1st tooth last month so we had to get a picture of his new smile. His other front tooth is loose, I can't wait to get a picture of that.

He also recieved an award from his teacher for being so responsible, (he must get that from Brent!) We are proud of how well he is doing at school. I can't believe that he only has a couple more months.

And last but not least, Dillon has started T-ball and soccer! I really don't know what we were thinking having him do both; he is a busy kid going from one to the other. Thank goodness he has lots of energy!

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas! The boys didn't wake up until 8:15am but when they did they were ready to open the presents. I walked into the room and the boys were checking out their presents, as soon as Colin saw me he opened his present from Dillon. He forgot to wait for Brent and Grandma Deborah!

We thought we'd let Corbin sleep a little bit but he knew he was missing out and joined the party not long after we started. Dillon was really excited about his rocket ship and his Star Wars lego game. Colin's favorite was his Megatron transformer and his jet airplane! Corbin's favorite was his sock monkey, oh wait that was mine!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we spent over at my parents house, with 3 of my sisters and my mother-in-law. It was a yummy dinner and a great program. The kids sang, "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" and they did the nativity scene. It was so cute to watch the kids perform. Also my parents gave their presents to the grandkids, my mom sewed all 19 grandkids temple pajamas and gave them a temple picture. Corbin got a pair as well but he was asleep in his car seat, however, he got cut out of the picture on accident!

The New Larkin Family

With our new little Corbin we thought we would attempt a new family picture. It was done on a fall afternoon in a matter of 30 minutes. We did it in our backyard so I could rush Corbin in the house. It is not perfect but great for memories and is always a good present to give to grandparents and great grandparents for Christmas!
